Mike and Steph are the owners of Durban Salsa. Mike started it in 2006. When he returned to Durban after 7 years in London, he found to his dismay that there was nowhere to dance SALSA! So he decided to start up SALSA in Durban.
Stephanie emigrated to Durban from Amsterdam in 2006 and was also looking for a place to salsa. Not only did she find salsa, she also found love at first sight! Mike and Steph got married in December 2009...
"We both absolutely love this dance. It's easy, fun and who cares if you make a mistake, as long as you're enjoying yourself!" We are passionate about creating a large salsa community with lots of opportunities to dance, have fun and socialise.
